The Take Me Fishing™ campaign teamed up with Discovery Education to create Explore the Blue - an online resource center for educators and parents to engage students in a dialogue about boating and fishing, and the value of clean and healthy natural resources.

  • Teachers can visit ExploretheBlue.com to download 28 different standards-aligned lesson plans for grades K-2 and 3-5 that cover math, science, social studies, health/physical education, and English/language arts.
  • Parents can download a variety of activities that will help their families spend time together outside and explore all that nature has to offer.
  • Kids can play the “Thrill of the Catch” - a virtual fishing game where they can learn about boating and fishing and care for their own ecosystem.
