Buck Creek, Cumberland River Basin
A 1.3 mile section of Buck Creek, several thousand feet of tributaries, and wetlands located in a State Wildlife Action Plan Aquatic Conservation Area are the focus of restoration efforts by The Nature Conservancy and several partners. To aid this restoration project, a grant was obtained and used to gather information for habitat requirements specific to certain species offish and mussels.
