Mac-O-Chee Creek Restoring the meander to channelized Mac-O-Chee Creek was essential to the Ohio Division of Wildlife’s objective to improve stream habitat for fish and wildlife. Open to fishing, a 1,500 foot section of the creek has been restored, which will enable the stream to support greater populations of fish such as brown trout and the endangered tongue-tied minnow.
