Intertidal Oyster Reef, Skidaway River
About 150 AmeriCorps volunteers donated 1,900 hours to baggingoyster shells and planting the bags in the intertidal zone ofSkidaway Island. The goal is to improve the structure and functionof the coastal habitat by restoring important oyster bedsthroughout the area.
