  • Beginner Class

    The goal of this class is to turn out a student who can make an informed decision when purchasing tackle, rig up the tackle, fish on their own, catch fish and have fun doing it.

  • Float Fishing - 101

    Casting instruction format will cover same basic topics as Trout 101--basic casting, roll casting, mending line and side-arm casting, knot tying, locating fish and reading a stream.

  • Fly Fishing Schools

    Our schools are the oldest in the country and our instructors have the knowledge and experience to introduce you to this great pastime.

  • Fly-Casting Clinic

    Experienced Orvis endorsed guides will provide you with a one-hour clinic of fly casting techniques.

  • Intermediate Fly Fishing Class

    This class will cover casting, line control, and reading water.

  • Introductory Fly-Tying Course

    This Course will provide the student tyer with all the basic knowledge, skills, and fundamentals required for tying effective saltwater flies in a casual environment.

    Trout 101 seeks to break down the process into simple steps, taking the mystery out of the sport.

    Our two-day clinic combines the fundamentals of fly fishing with practical experience.



  • Becoming an Outdoors-Woman

    Offers outdoor skills workshops to women throughout North America.  Skills for hunting and shooting, fishing, and non-harvest sports like canoeing and camping are taught.

  • Conclave

    This traveling rod-building seminar includes a banquet and a souvenir program.

  • Educational Recreational Adventures

    Educational Recreational Adventures teaches environmental education, science, and outdoor skills (fly fishing, canoeing, kayaking, cross-country skiing, backpacking, aquatic education,wildlife studies,...) to people of all ages.

  • Hooked On Fishing–Not On Drugs®

    The flagship youth education program of the Future Fisherman Foundation. HOFNOD uses angling skill development as a gateway to teach youth about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and how to deal with the challenges facing them in their young lives. The HOFNOD network includes trained aquatic education professionals in over 30 states with literally thousands of programs nationwide.   • Physical Education Program

    A curriculum and equipment package designed to teach fly-fishing in Physical Education. We assist teachers in the completion of Federal Fishing Grant Applications and can equip your whole program.

  • Student Angler Federation In-School program

    This free in-school program by The Bass Federation provides an educational look at today’s world of fishing. See how items like math, science and language arts are used by professional anglers’ everyday! Talk to a teacher, advisor or principle and have them apply for this TBF program for your school.
