Take a kid fishing at this one-day FREE event! This introduction to the sport of fishing is sponsored by the Aquatic Resource Education Center in partnership with Delaware State Parks,. Open to ages 6-15, the clinic will teach children fundamental fishing skills and conservation of aquatic ecosystems. The clinic consists of 4 skill stations; Casting, Knot Tying, Tackle and Ethical Angling, followed by fishing on Killens Pond! Kids will have a positive fishing experience and will receive a prize at the end of the day. Participants must be accompanied by an adult *Any adult over the age of 16 must have a current fishing license to fish. **Park entrance fees in effect ($3.00 Delaware, $6.00 Out of State, $12 for vehicles carrying 16 or more passengers.
