Safe Kids Toombs and Surrounding is having a Take me fishing event for children 2 years to 16 years of age. Georgia DNR has furnished over 1500 small catfish. Local feed stores and Timber Company is helping with the feed. We have a total of 4 Automatic feeder for the fish. On the day of the event we will be teaching the kids how to fix their rod / reel or pole for fishing, bait to use and chasting. We also will be teaching how to be safe around the water. We are planning to have hot dogs, chips and drinks for the kids and adults.
