The event is for children to come and fish the Roaring River. We are holding one May 19th and the other is August 18th 2012. It is a Kid’s Fishing Day for children and it is free. The event is for children 15 and younger to fish for trout free at Roaring River State Park for the day. We also offer activities, games and classes with a conservation theme. Examples of the classes are fly fishing, fly tying, knot tying, fish id, and water quality. There are activities most of the day. There are also prizes for completeing classes and a drawing at the end of the day. The children also get a free lunch provided by Jim Roger's Concessions.
