  • IFBBA 15th Anniversary Diversity Buddy Bass Tournament
    • THIS IS THE IFBBA's 15th ANNIVERSARY AS A BASS TOURNAMENT ORGANIZATION. OUR THEME THIS YEAR IS DIVERSITY, THEREFORE ALL PARTICIPANTS WHO WANT TO COMPETE MUST HAVE A ETHNIC MINORITY AND OR A WOMAN AS A BUDDY PARTNER ! WE MUST INJECT MORE MINORITIES INTO THE MAINSTREAM OF BASS FISHING ON EVERY LEVEL.

  • C.A.S.T. for Kids
    • C.A.S.T. “Catch A Special Thrill” for Kids Foundation is a public charity that was formed in 1991 to join volunteers who love to fish with disabled and disadvantaged children for a day of fishing in the outdoors. The Foundation became an official 501(c)3 in 1994 and currently hosts two programs; C.A.S.T. for Kids Program and Fishing Kids Program.

  • Military Appreciation Day
    • About 200 Volunters take Service Personal and there families fishing twice a year. Over 75 boat owners volunteer to take them fishing. After the fishing we feed them all. The people who do not want to go fishing are entertained with games, boat rides, lunch, etc Also we have a "Take a hero fishing" program that is ran all year long.

  • The Wahoo Challenge
    • This annual Wahoo fishing tournament is held in downtown Morehead City and benefits Take a Kid Fishing Foundation and the Crystal Coast Hospice House. Participants can fish two out of three days and enjoy the festivities under the big tent across from Charter Boat row on the Morehead City waterfront. Awards for lady and junior anglers too. Weigh in is each day at the town docks at the end of 6th Street. Tent festivities include vendor booths, food, drink, a raffle, a live auction and our awards ceremony. Come fish and have fun at the 6th annual Wahoo Challenge.
