- CARP Tournament Series Northeast Regional
-
You will never in your life find another fishery that will yield more action of native carp than along the Seneca River in Baldwinsville, NY. The Red Mill Inn has played host to the CARP Tournament Series Northeast Regionals for the past three years and will continue to do so for a long, long time thanks to the unbelievable success of this event. The event even led to a Feb 6, 2009 comic strip by Ripley's Believe it or Not acknowledging its success. In 2007, 34 two-person teams hauled in a combined 28,000 pounds of 10+ pound common, leather and mirror carp during the 50-hour endurance event. In 2008, 41 two-person teams hauled in a combined 36,000 pounds of 10+ pound carp. In 2009, 43 teams hauled in well over 16 tons of carp. Each year, CARP Tournament Series and the local host committee of event volunteers awards over $10,000 in cash and prizes to event competitors. Come visit Baldwinsville, NY and the CARP Tournament Series Northeast Regionals to see for yourself why the Seneca River is regarded as the greatest carp fishery on the planet! And if you cannot make it for the tournament, come out any time for recreational fishing. Baldwinsville is happy to host carp anglers year-round.
