The Alaska Department of Fish and Game routinely stocks them with rainbow trout, Arctic char and land-locked coho salmon, making them a perfect spot for a family outing. The rainbow trout is an extremely valuable species in any and all of its forms. It is native to the west coast of North America from southern Alaska to Mexico.
