So here we are, a mere 11 days away from the official first day of spring. With weather patterns acting funky all over the country, I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s starting to feel the pangs of cabin fever.

For those of you who haven’t heard, we made a major announcement last week about our brand new mobile site, which is viewable at TakeMeFishing.org/mobile from smartphones, giving access to TakeMeFishing.org’s best assets right in the palm of your hand.

We were thrilled with the amount of interest that our new digital resources generated at both shows.

We want to let you in on a little secret. Are you ready for it? REALLY ready for it?  This week at the Bassmaster Classic and Miami International Boat Show, we will be unveiling our newest accomplishment: a fully integrated, user-friendly mobile version of our website!

Here at the Take Me Fishing™ headquarters in the Washington, DC metro area, we’re lucky enough to be blessed with four distinctly different seasons to keep us constantly on our toes.

I’ve got to admit, hearing that good ol’ Punxatawny Phil did NOT see his shadow this morning was the best news we’ve heard all year. For northern boaters especially, the sooner Spring appears, the sooner we can all get back out on the water!

In an effort to be the go-to resource for all you boaters and anglers out there, we’ve taken an extra step toward offering you the most up-to-date news and information.

With 2010 behind us, it’s once again time to start thinking about the dreaded New Year’s resolution (dun, dun, dun).

The shortest day and longest night of the year mark the official first day of winter.  In North America, that occurs today (December 21).

We’re a little behind, so we’re going to start at 10. Let’s face it; we’ve been pretty busy dreaming about warmer weather.
