Learning how to ice fish isn’t as difficult as you might think.
The holiday festivities are over and hopefully you received some fishing related gifts.
If you are like me, you are probably wondering how it can possibly be that another year has come and gone so quickly.
I recently got a holiday party invitation that gave me the shivers.

This time of year, the types of gifts you are likely to think about most are the ones that come wrapped in decorative paper and are tied up with a bow. However, when it comes to teaching fishing to a beginner and sharing your love of the sport with others, there are a few intangible gifts you are likely to receive.
When I was a kid, shoot, I was maybe 12 or 13 years old or so, I went bass fishing with a buddy. He knew of this pond that was chock a block with fish, and good ones, too.

I spoke with a buddy last week, and he was grousing about the lower numbers of striped bass. There has been a lot of chatter about regulations and biomass, and it seems like protective measures will soon be in place. So I asked him about the biomass of anglers.
