Resource Hub - Second Catch Campaign Stakeholder Assets

Welcome to Second Catch Campaign Stakeholder Assets page. We’re thrilled you’re joining us! Below you will find all the resources you need to help get your customers and clients fishing together for their own Second Catch moment.

Why You Should Help Share the Message:

We all play a hand in recruiting, retaining, and reactivating anglers and boaters!

The animated Second Catch video will catch the attention of anglers and boaters near you. It encourages people to invite someone back to the water, or to the water for the first time. This campaign can help you remind people of the fun times they had and reconnect them to your agency or business, and to each other. RBFF will release these materials at the national level - using the co-brandable materials in your area can help tie your brand to this widespread effort.

The full suite of resources with the Second Catch campaign can:

  1. Help you connect with anglers/boaters on a personal/emotional level
  2. Add to Fathers’ Day promotions you already have planned
  3. Provide a way for someone to easily send the invite to go fishing or boating

Social Media Examples and Captions

There’s lots of ways you can use the campaign assets on social media.

  • Use the following pre-written captions to easily and quickly spread the message (of course, you can always write your own):
    • This Father’s Day, ask your daughter to hit the water so you can enjoy all the benefits of fishing. #FindYourBestSelf
    • What’s better than a Father’s Day on the water? Invite your dad (or your daughter) fishing today and reel in some surprising benefits. #FindYourBestSelf
    • This summer, invite someone you love to hit the water and experience the amazing benefits of fishing. #FindYourBestSelf
    • Fishing comes with some pretty amazing bonus benefits. Invite someone you love out on the water. #FindYourBestSelf
    • Is there any better way to celebrate Father’s Day than being out on the water with your dad? This year, invite your dad fishing – and catch some pretty amazing benefits for yourself, like more resilience and confidence. Watch this father-daughter fishing story to get inspired. @TakeMeFishing #FindYourBestSelf
    • Did you go fishing with your dad when you were a little girl? Did you stop? If you did, you’re not alone. Girls stop fishing at a 10% higher rate than boys. This summer, we’re getting them back on the water. Watch this fishing story to get inspired and get back out there. @TakeMeFishing #FindYourBestSelf
    • Fun fact: women who fish have more confidence and resilience. Not-so-fun fact: girls stop fishing at a 10% higher rate than boys. This summer, let’s get them back out on the water. Watch this fishing story to get inspired. Then, invite someone you love fishing. @TakeMeFishing #FindYourBestSelf
