Here are a few things you can start with:
- Make sure you have renewed your fishing license. You can enjoy fishing from shore, or if you have a boat, make sure you have renewed your boat registration.
- Check and reorganize all of your fishing safety gear.
- Check your PFDs, make sure your boat registration paperwork is on board, and then also make sure that all of your fishing tackle and gear is organized and ready.
- Make sure that all of your fishing guides have been checked, replace the line on your fishing rods if needed, and double-check all of your drag systems.
