Strategic Plan

RBFF is committed to executing a well-planned set of activities, one that is both informed by our stakeholders and based on best available research and evaluative information. Our current Strategic Plan encompasses FY 2020 – 2022 (April 1, 2019 through March 31, 2022) and was approved by the RBFF Board of Directors in September 2018. Cooperative Agreement

RBFF’s cooperative agreement with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service fulfills the intent of the 1998 Sportfishing and Boating Safety Act by providing financial support to RBFF for implementing and managing the objectives to meet the spirit and intent of the original National Communications Plan developed by the Sport Fishing and Boating Partnership Council

60 IN 60 MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

RBFF and members of the fishing and boating industry have signed a memorandum of understanding with the U.S. Department of the Interior and the U.S. Department of Agriculture to promote fishing and boating. A similar memorandum of agreement between members of the boating and fishing industry and the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Both documents call on all parties to cooperate in planning and implementing mutually-beneficial projects and activities to increase fishing and boating participation on public, federal lands and waterways in the quest to reach the 60 in 60 goal.

NATIONAL OUTREACH AND COMMUNICATIONS PROGRAM MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

RBFF has signed a memorandum of understanding with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, the Sport Fishing and Boating Partnership Council, and the Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies which fortifies each organization’s role for implementing and managing the objectives to meet the spirit and intent of the original National Communications Plan
