Webinar: Reactivating Lapsed Boaters (8/25/21)
This past April, RBFF partnered with 17 states and sent a direct mail letter to lapsed boat registrants encouraging them to re-register their boat and get back out on the water. TX Parks and Wildlife Department sent follow up emails to a test group of boaters and an 18th state, the TN Wildlife Resource Agency, used Facebook ads to target lapsed boaters.

Webinar: Insights on R3 Planning (8/12/20)
Many state fish and wildlife agencies are working to develop recruitment, retention and reactivation (R3) plans to increase participation in fishing, boating, hunting and outdoor recreation. Earlier this year, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC) launched their R3 plan and transitioned into implementation.
Over the course of about eight months, the AGFC team worked through an extensive planning process to develop an R3 plan for the future of conservation and outdoor recreation in Arkansas. Many of the resources AGFC developed in their process can benefit other state agencies working through R3 planning. Listen in as Tabbi Kinion, AGFC Education Division Chief and lead for their agency’s R3 plan development, shares how their agency navigated through an agency-wide process with a planning team, writing teams, and now implementation teams.
